General Information Incorporation: Woodland Port District, created by local taxpayers in October, 1960. Voting District: District encompasses the Lewis River Valley and the City of Woodland and includes approximately 12,000 residents. Current tax rate: $0.29 per $1,000 of assessed value. Annual Revenue: $990,000 in 2011 (including $216,000 from property tax receipts). Form of Government Elected commission Elected Officials Three port commissioners – elected from three distinct districts with in the Woodland Port District. Commissioners serve six year terms. Port commissioner positions are non-partisan. No term limits.
