General Information

Woodland, located at the confluence of the Lewis and Columbia Rivers in Southwest Washington, is a rapidly growing, friendly community enjoying the marriage of small town life and a close association with neighboring metro centers Vancouver and Portland, Ore. Major rail service, river transportation, shipping facilities and immediate access to Interstate 5, position the district for continued growth.

Population: The district serves about 2,200 students.

Mission:  Woodland School District values the uniqueness and diversity of each child and believes all students can learn within a safe, caring environment of staff and community. It is the responsibility of the Woodland School District to provide an equal and quality education. The district will seek to develop in its students an understanding of the importance of hard work and how performance, effort and decisions directly affect educational and career opportunities.
