General Information This district is governed by a board of supervisors/commissioners composed of three members. The board is responsible for construction and maintenance of drainage and/or diking improvements. Commissioners are elected in February of even-numbered years and serve six-year overlapping terms, commencing in February. To vote and to hold office one must own land within the district and be a qualified voter of the district. Area Diking Improvement District No. 14 is located in the Vancouver Lake area.
